5.11 Tactical FlexTac Stryke Pants
I always look before I leap when when buying..this is the 1st review I've felt compelled to write. I'm extremely satisfied with the Stryke Khaki pant. Owned for 7 mos. with comfort and constructed for wear in all the right places. Fits and looks great ; the Buffet (stretch) waist works in your favor getting up from a meal. Think I have a stain? A good dab of Shout hasn't failed yet. Washes up good, air dries easily, may pop in the dryer for a short time with no need to iron. Wears for activity and provides a professional image. Belt loops and 8 useful pockets (2 cargo having with inner content spaces) to fit your need options. You pay for what you get here..I'm not giving you a bum steer! Am very pleased with the Stryke pant.
These are the best pants I have owned for law enforcement duty. I worked 15 months in corrections and had a duty pant from Elbeco that were good pants. I bought 2 pairs of these pant and now currently work for a police department. These are the most comfortable pants I have worn for duty work. The extra knee and seat padding is perfect and the cell phone and accessory pockets on the front are perfect for phone, knife, note pad or anything law enforcement officers need. Highly recommend these pants to any law enforcement officer.
Great pants-really like the material and fit is great
I've tried all versions of 5.11 pants over the years and these are the best yet. The greatest feature of all...no "Baggy Butt" !!!. It may just be all those years of sitting in patrol cars which made my posterior vaporate but no matter the cause...these FIT GREAT !!! I'm ordering another pair !!!
Who would have thought the 1st time I buy "myself" a pair of comfortable 5.11 pants, the wife walks in and says WOW! Fit like a "glove" with the flex-ripstop fabric, & reinforced everywhere! Even extra material on the area you carry a folder or tactical light. I hang mine to dry; lasts 3x as long as throwing them in the dryer; that Teflon needs to stay cool to work in protecting your clothing! Best buy on the site! R3
As a contractor and business owner I am always in dirty situations especially when it comes to emergency repairs on equipment.Recently I was the only one on the job site to replace an oil line on a backhoe.Crawling around under the equipment I of course I touched greased fittings.Tan shirt and 5.11 Tactical Stryke pants got greased up also.Thats expensive clothing to through out so I tried cleaning grease off with lighter fluid.Used a $5.00n + can of fluid but saved pants and shirt.Stryke pants showed NO oil or grease stains, look like new after washing to get dirt off.I have ordered more in a darker color just in case.
I usually buy the standard 511 TDU, but decided at the advice of a telephone representive to purchase the stryke pant. Wow, these pants are well price. Too many advantages to name.
I have been wearing these pants for three years now and find them lightweight (Georgia can get hot in the summer), sharp looking, with a great fit! The slight elastic give in the waist helps us middle aged guys. I highly recommend these pants.
Being a Corrections Officer and a Sheriff Reserve Officer, I tried a pair of these pants for uniform wear. They turned out to be the most comfortable and well thought out uniform pants I ever owned. They are much softer and more comfortable than the regular canvas type duty pants, and yet, they last just as long. The same useful pockets are provided on both sides positioned to clear my sidearm and duty belt. The ripstop stretch fabric is tough and easy to move in. Granted, they are higher in price than budget uniform pants, but if you live in uniform like I do, then 16 hour comfort is critically crucial.
These are the best pants 511 has ever made. So comfortable, easy to move in. The fabric is awesome, I wish they would use this material in all their pants. I now have 4 pair. Definitely would recommend this product for corrections or law enforcement. They are expensive, but well worth it!!!
