Just right!! - April 13, 2012
I use my bag for carrying my metal detecting equipment in the desert, it's just the right size, holds everything I need, I did sew a grab handle on it, it's not made from crinkly material like some maxpedition bags. I give this bag 5 *****.

I have had my PUSH Pack now for about seven months and have found it to be a great versatile asset for me. I travel quite a bit in my line of work with the U.S. Navy and also as Commander of a VFW Post in Japan where I am continually on the go attending meetings, visiting veterans in hospitals, etc., and carrying a standard size briefcase can be very bulky especially when riding on crowded trains, which is my highest used mode of travel here.

I think both the SERE and PUSH bags could benefit from having the capability to expand a bit, if needed and should be large enough to hold a 10-11 laptop or netbook. Both are too small for my needs. I have a SERE that was a gift with purchase and it is about 1 too short for my uses. The PUSH looks to be even smaller, but the exterior storage pouches are a nice touch that the SERE does not have.

I ordered this bag as a test together with 5 other brands. This bag is a valuable adding to our team equipment. It will store all the needed first responder equipment incl Cpl CPR equipment. With the sling and the paddings it is comfortable to carry even on hot day's 80+ temp. ++ item

I visited the site to order another 5.11 SERE pack. Apparently 5.11 no longer makes the SERE pack for Quartermaster Uniform. In my opinion the SERE pack was superior to the new PUSH pack. The SERE pack exclusive to Quartermaster Uniform had molle attachment points on the flap, the sides, the front under the flap and a number of other compartments inside and out including an Antenna port, clear plastic under the flap for maps. I think my only dislike was that it was offered in black only.
