Good light. Since the switch is electrical and not mechanical, it's pretty much impossible to flash it rapidly on and off real quick to get another officers' attention. Only other draw back is that since this is a plastic light, it's not going to be very good as an impact weapon. Other than that the light is probably the best duty lights out there. If I could carry only one light this would be the one for the sole reason of being able to continuously top off the light.

I was impressed after 2 days, have been using for over a year. I still think this light is impressive. Light weight and comfortable to carry, most of the time I put light in hip pocket instead of belt carrier. Charge time is still fast, light is still very bright.

This is a great light. I was very pleasantly surprised at how bright it was the first time I used it. Charge time is VERY fast. Remember, don't get into a fight for life without your light for life.

I am very happy with 5.11. I am sort of a gadget person and out here this light comes in handy at night over the valley. I can keep the light and charger on my table or in the vehicle and be ready to go on a moments' notice to look to my sides if in the vehicle or I can shine it down the canyon for any varmints and it scoots them away without a round going off. And, I always take it on trips ...it is bright enough for any emergency road matters. It was truly worth the investment!

This is one of the best lights that I've seen come along in my 30 yrs in public safety. At first I was hesitant about the beam pattern of 3 LEDs, but the beam alignment is perfect, with just enough 'scatter' to provide side lighting. Charge time is truly 90 secs if completely run down. Run time is a solid hour before dimming I've used mine for a couple of months and have yet to run it down. The 'strobe' mode is also very attention getting from a distance.

Have had the light for several weeks now. Fast charge time but DO NOT keep it out of a charger for more than 2-3 days because it power drops to almost nothing. This is a disadvantage and no one has commented on this. IF you have it in car then on a charger and in the house with the AC adapter charger.

I love the nearly instant recharge and the light is amazingly bright - I can light up objects more than 600 feet away. My only complaint - the run time is not equal to the claims. On 90 lumens I get 37 minutes - not 60.

I have only used the light 2 days so far and am very impressed. Charge time for first use was only a little more than 90 seconds. Imagine my pleasant suprise to realize my light was recharged after the first shift of use in about the time it took to fasten seatbelts and start car.
