I thought the 5.11 brand was way over priced and refused to buy any of their products for years. Then I broke down and bought a pair of these pants. They are great and well worth the money. I now own three pairs of these pants and just bought a shirt to go with them. They are BDU''s but they have a professional appearance as well. They are durable heavy fabric. I''m on the web site preparing to order a fourth pair in a different color.

Hands down, the best pair of work pants I''ve found. I have worn these exclusively for almost 3 years now. The waist band is very comfortable and the belt loops were designed with duty belt wear in mind. They do not shrink and the color holds very well. In natural resource protection, I do a lot of trail climbing and maint. and really put these to the test. They resist tearing from cactus well, and the neoprene kneepads are great and stay in place. I''m very rough on pants in my line of of work,

I have put these to the test crawling through Laurel thickets and greenbriar day after day. I come in bloody and bruised and the pants wash clean, hold up and are ready for more. They hold their color after three years and I am nowhere near ready to retire them yet.
