SERPA lock allows you to re-holster quickly and securely -- using only one hand!
Forget old-fashioned thumb breaks that slow your draw and complicate re-holstering. The NEW CQC holsters from BlackHawk® include the patented SERPA Technology™ lock that engages the trigger guard as you holster your handgun and won't let go until you release it. The release is made using your normal drawing motion, with the trigger finger beside the holster body.
• NEW Matte finish provides a value-priced alternative to unique Carbon Fiber finish.
• Constructed of strong and lightweight carbon-fiber composites; the same material used in fighter aircraft, race car bodies and advanced medical instruments.
• Speed cut in the front of the holster provides a quick draw and a slight flare to the opening helps you re-holster easily.
• Includes both belt loop and paddle platforms for versatility.
• Available in right hand only.

Just used this rig at my quals with my 1911. Worked great. Very easy to work with smooth in and out much better than that old thumb break when seconds count on the range, or in the field.

I use this particular model on my duty belt and love it! It fits close to my body and up high. In this position it doesnt snag on the radio or seatbelt when getting in and out of teh car. Many love the speed on the draw, my favorite is how quickly you can holster and secure when you have to go hands on.
