I think this jacket is the best way to go all around because it is lightweight yet can be heavy, if that makes sense. At the same time, you get all the qwerks and perks for a lower cost. I definately give this one five stars!

We use this jacket and yes it is warm in the winter in San Francisco but I find that the wind blows right through it and the jacket actually absorbs water. I do not find that this jacket is water repellent at all, but since it only rains here a few months out of the year it works the best for us. In normal weather this jacket is a great value.
