First Defense Red Pepper Spray for MK-3

Issued years ago and used it twice on jobs, as directed and trained, and found it worked as touted, even on one individual who was fairly well intoxicated. A lot of guys emptied half the can on targets with delayed effect, but I used just the single quick shot to the forehead and WHAM! instant compliance with accompanying yowling and tears ... and the patrol car wasn't rendered undriveable because of the soaking some subjects were given at other times! I have also been on jobs where the product was deployed and wasn't effective at all, just as they warn ... there's a certain percentage of folks this stuff just doesn't impress drunk, high, or sober ... .
