LawPro 8" Dispatch Duty 2.0 Side-Zip Boot

I have had my boots for about 1 year now and I love them. I am diabetic and they are better than my 300 dollar diabetic boots. They are lighter, softer, have better support all around and they are almost waterproof, plus my feet do not sweat much in the and for a diabetic that's a good thing. I have a K-9 and I have put these boots thru hell and they just keep asking for more. I will buy another pair when these are worn out, if that ever happens, and I tell all my friends that have spent 2 to 3 times what I spent that they bought the wrong boot and they need to get some of these.

Based on the other reviews, I took a chance and bought these boots three months ago. They are much better than I expected. I have paid twice as much for boots of the same quality. The side zippers are heavy-duty YKK brand, something I always look for. They polish well. The stitching lines are straight, which indicates good quality control at the factory. I did replace the insole with my own for more cushion and arch support, but I do that with any boot.

"I`ve worn the version 1 both on and off-duty for the past four years and been very satisfied. (And as a k9-handler my boots has to take some serious beating!) I`m a believer in the saying ""If its not broken - don`t fix it"", so I was highly sceptical when I saw they came with a version 2, but in this case I`ll make an exception... These boots might be a tiny bit heavier than the old ones, but they also feels a lot stronger and steardier, yet still as soft and flexible in the right spots as the old ones. I`ve worn them since mid december now. Three months through blizzards, snow and slush, but they look as if I bought them yesterday. And I`ve just ordered another to pairs for colleagues of mine that I`ve recommended these for..."

These are very comfortable boots. Minimal break in time. I dropped a star on my rating because I liked the previous version of these boots more. However, even though these boots do not feel as light as the originals, they do feel more sturdy. Good traction in mud and snow. I am also amazed at how fast they broke in. If I had not been spoiled by the original Dispatch boots these would be my all time favorites.
