a couldnt find a beetter coat for this value i particularly lke the removable liner which makes it very versitile plus its very lightweight.
This is a great coat for nasty weather--cold rain, wind-driven snow, etc. The zip-out liner makes it usable over a wide range of conditions, and it works well for vacations as well as work.
Have worn this jacket for several years..Agree with the seams coming apart review...It took awhile but the right hand pocket seam started coming loose and fell apart...$10 at the sweat shop (dry cleaners) and she had it as good as new...The liner has cuffs that are tight, so taking it off can be a chore if you have big hands...That said, of several jackets that I have, it is my 1st choice to wear for work, sans liner in the spring and fall...Not really heavy enought for a cold winter outside, but okay if you're in a vehicle most of the time...Very good duty jacket, just know it's limitations.
Great Duty Jacket and for the price you can't beat it.
Great Jacket and you can't beat the price.
Guys at work are jealous and thinking about getting them one as well. It's nice and warm. It's a great jacket.
For the price-point that this is at, you will not find a better value. It looks much like the jackets that sell for 4x the price. Only two issues with this jacket: First is - that it is not really ideal for real cold winters if your officers spend a lot of time outside in below Zero weather. Second, it is made less expensively than its higher cost counterparts, and we have had 3 of the 20 ordered start to rip apart at the seams from the waist, and following up the side seams. once this occurs, the jacket is not really repairable due to the material type. For security on a budget, these are a really great deal though.. and for the few that get used hard and die early, you can easily afford to replace, and still be well under the cost of a more costly model.
I owned this jacket when I was a correctional officer. You get a lot of bang for your buck! Jacket isn't bulky and looks good, all while being serviceable.
This is a great jacket, has all the features of the more expensive ones, but why pay more?? Highly recommend!!!
Having worn this jacket as both a Corrections Officer and Deputy, I find it an extremely serviceable garment, and is long enough to cover my rear in the rain. It is very water resistant
