"Absolutely one of the better boots in terms of comfort I have ever worn. The soles stood up to daily wear and tear as I had hoped. The shoelace ""tabs/eyelets"" on the top-half of the boots are what i couldn't stand. LITERALLY on the second night I owned these boots, I laced them up and these insanely cheap eyelets snapped open, which made for a long night at work of not being able to properly lace up the boots. Then I drilled out the 3 or 4 broken eyelets and used the holes where the eyelets riveted to. Recently, I was tightening up the boots before work on the hole that i run the laces through ripped open. The boots had about 5 months of total use before being unwearable. The problem with the eyelets may have been the laces for the boots as they are very high-quality and are somewhat ""sharp"" which probably causes a sawing-like action everytime you lace them up. I would probably order these boots nonstop if it wasn't for the eyelet/shoelace problem."
I got a pair of these boots because a friend had them overseas and he loved them. They are very comfortable and I really like the style. I was shocked however that a boot manufactured for the US Special forces had a tag that read (MADE IN CHINA) come on Oakley lets bring it back home please..
