These are good shoes only problem I had the laces shredded apart. Otherwise they work good
I purchased these shoes in 04/2017 and as with all my shoes, I use them hard in all outdoor elements, snow, rain, hot and cold. In 12/2017 I noticed a tear on the outside right of the right shoe. That tear grew bigger and another tear developed on the inside left shoe. I communicated via chat with a rep who sent me a Fed Ex shipping label and I returned the shoes yesterday. I'm willing to give another pair a chance, but at this point I'd say that they are inside controlled climate shoes that would be good for an officer that doesn't move around much.
First pair I bought 2 years ago lasted a long time. I put new insoles to breathe life back into them around 6 months and they were great. Finally retired them after about a year.
Bought a new pair, only lasted about 3 months. As someone else mentioned, the sole began to separate from the leather upper at the heel. Sadly it happened during a shift and I used black duct tape to get through. Thought I might have had one that didn't make the quality assurance inspection so I reordered since the first pair were so good. Second pair has lasted exactly 3 months and same problem has happened again with the leather separating from the rubber sole.
Great shoes otherwise but may as well pay more $$ for a shoe that will last vs. replacing every 3 months.
Very good quality
Very nice and comfortable!!!
We purchased two pair of these shoes (one was for my adult son). We've had them for about 8-months. My shoes have been perfect. My son's developed holes in the uppers where they flexed and the sole is becoming detached as I write this. The holes began occurring about two months after they arrived. The shoes were purchased in two different sizes. I can only believe that the leather on my pair was better quality than that of my son's pair. His shoes were very disappointing
"only problem ive had so far is they wont clear a metal detector so i have to take them off to go into work but beside that im happy with them"
Why won't they clear metal detector?
I've owned these for about 8 months, and I've yet to find a comparable show for quality and price. I work security and put them through their paces. They haven't let me down yet. Even if they only last a year you can't beat the value.
