Protect yourself from bitter winds with the LawPro Flannel Lined Windbreaker. Drawstring waist and elastic cuffs keep out the biting cold, with reinforced handwarmer pockets for extra coverage. A nylon taffeta shell with brushed tricot lining helps preserve your body’s heat.
I love the jacket. I had one when I worked in public safety and when I retired, I had to give the jacket back (after 11 years of use). It was the best water repellent jacket I ever used.
This one I bought, I am real disappoint at the liner, you can actually see through the liner. But even so, I will keep it and see how it works out. The price on this item was hard to pass, but as they say - you get what you pay for. I would have gave 5 stars, but for the liner.
I bought this to use while fishing and being outdoors on cool windy days. It says flannel lined but it sure as heck isn't flannel in my book. It is VERY thin and does a poor job of retaining heat and stopping wind. I would not recommend it as a field jacket for active EMS or LEO's - flimsy and lack durability.
The jacket it self is a good jacket, as mentioned before by other posters the lining is not as thick as my previous ones, but I put it on under my duty winter jacket (cold in Michigan at times) so it serves the purpose and yes there has been a price increase of about $5.00 since I bought my last one. The real issue I have is that the snaps on this jacket are terrible, the button part will actually pull out after 6 or 7 uses, they actually pull away from the fabric leaving a hole on the right side of the jacket where the fold over snap once was. Since I use this as an added piece of clothing under my uniform jacket that is not a huge problem to me, but if you are buying this as your main every day use jacket, just be aware that the snaps on this jacket are TERRIBLE
These are the best jackets hands down, I have ever bought and worn. They are comfortable, roomy but not too big or too loose. the pockets are great, big enough to get my whole hand into even with something in them. they was very well. I washed on regular wash and dried on low heat. No shrinkage, no pucker. This has high quality workmanship and will last a long time. The lining is a light fleece that is lightly warm but not too warm to wear in the Spring or cool days and nights. I bought a size medium for both myself and my husband and our weights are 180 and 195 lbs. height 5'7". A person can't go wrong by getting these jackets...they are great ! !
Real nice light weight jacket for three season use. Runs true to size.
I've been purchasing these jackets for over 20 years. Twenty years ago, the material was thicker and the lining was TRUE flannel. My two most previous purchases of this jacket, I could tell a remarkable difference in material quality in both the nylon shell and the lining which is NOT flannel, but more of a thin nylon mesh material. Plus, the price increased for lesser quality product. The only reason I continue to purchase it, it because I like the style.
This windbreaker is marked exactly like the last one I had from QM. The old one is still intact, after 9 years It needed replacement because it looked too old. This new one is just not the same quality. Much thinner fabric and already lost a button from the front. Disappointed.
I bought one of these coats 4 years ago, after spending lots of money on custom embroidery and adding patches the coast lasted 2 or 3 years of seasonal use before one of the snaps broke off.
I bought another one last year I was going to have embroidered for the Rescue Squad I'm on. I haven't worn the coat but maybe 10 times in the year I've had this coat and guess what snap broke off.
this second does not feel as warm as the original coat even though they are the same thing. (supposedly)
trying to find another alternative now.
I had previously purchased a windbreaker from QM and then I ruined it. It was my favorite light jacket and I had it for several years. I was very unhappy when I goofed it up so I ordered another and It is the same quality. i expect to wear it for many years.
Very happy with the size and price! The only complaint I have is the rivets fell off only after a few days. I would still buy more when needed.
I bought this jacket for my gear bag because sometimes a light windbreaker is all you need in the field. I added a SHERIFF Back Patch and a SHERIFF Badge Patch to the front for duty wear. I love these jackets because they're weather proof, comfortable and easy to move in. The only thing I would change is to offer zipper side vents for quick access to eqipment. Regardless, I wouln't want to be without one in my duty bag on those long nights answering calls.
Bought one of these to see if I would like it. I ordered a size up so that I could wear a sweatshirt or body armour underneath. VERY well made jacket. Excellent room, no binding in arms or shoulders. Outer Shell is tuff and repels rain rather well. I like it so much I am about to order another one for me and one for my wife too.
